As a Shopify Builder at Momentum, you will play a key role in developing, customizing and maintaining e-commerce platforms built on Shopify. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to create seamless, user-friendly online stores that deliver exceptional shopping experiences.

As a Shopify Builder, you’ll:

  • Design, build, and maintain custom Shopify stores, including theme customization and app integrations.
  • Work closely with product architects and clients to translate business requirements into functional, scalable Shopify solutions.
  • Optimize Shopify stores for performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.
  • Integrate third-party apps and tools to extend Shopify functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to Shopify stores.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and features in e-commerce, specifically with Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates.
  • Build and manage e-commerce websites on Shopify, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and shipping solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or issues in the Shopify environment.
  • Ensure that Shopify stores are optimized for speed, SEO, and conversions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience building and customizing Shopify stores.
  • Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify’s API.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus and e-commerce best practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO, mobile optimization, and website analytics.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
